For our location in Emmen, situated in the Getec Park, we are looking for an All-Round Operator (5-Shift System).
We are seeking a self-motivated All-Round Operator for this independent role. You will ensure the biodiesel production process runs as efficiently as possible while adhering to all safety, environmental, and sustainability regulations. Additionally, you will address (technical) malfunctions, perform cleaning and site inspections, and propose improvements. The production operates 24/7, and the workweek consists of 33.6 hours.
Your responsibilities include
- Managing, adjusting, and monitoring the production process and related processes using display systems.
- Performing various sampling tasks throughout the process, from raw materials to finished products. Analysing samples in the in-house laboratory and recording the results.
- Implementing process changes, such as adjusting auxiliary materials based on analyses and trends in levels, temperatures, pressures, etc. Consulting colleagues or supervisors for significant deviations or exceptions.
- Conducting inspection rounds in the factory and on the premises, recording deviations and incidents, and taking action when necessary.
- Logging activities, noting readings, temperatures, quantities, etc., and maintaining the operators’ logbook.
- Assisting with tasks during major maintenance, such as cleaning and repairs throughout the factory.
- Helping with loading and unloading products, sampling raw materials and finished products, and assisting with repairs.
- Proposing improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, energy use, sustainability, and more.
What we expect from you
- Knowledge and experience with automated production systems.
- At least a VAPRO-B diploma.
- Willingness to pursue a VAPRO-C qualification.
- Familiarity with ATEX guidelines in a production environment or a willingness to learn and adhere to these guidelines.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Accurate and meticulous in recording process information.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Basic knowledge of English and German for communication with truck drivers and others.
- Experience working in a 5-shift system.
