Recently, our Chief Commercial Officer, Jeroen Hovius, had the opportunity to join State Secretary Chris Jansen during a visit to Neste’s biofuel production facility. The visit provided an important platform to discuss the role of biofuels and renewable chemicals in reducing emissions, particularly in sectors like shipping, aviation, and heavy transport, where electrification is still a challenge.
Key discussions included the European Renewable Energy Directive III (RED III), which emphasizes the need for fuel suppliers to increase the share of renewable energy in their offerings. These conversations are essential as we collectively work toward solutions that drive the energy transition and support sustainable practices across industries.
