Sunoil Group is looking for a Chief Technology & Operations Officer (CTOO) to lead innovation and operational excellence at our biofuel production facilities in Emmen and Kampen. This executive role is critical in optimizing production processes, scaling operations, and ensuring the highest standards in technology, sustainability, and compliance.
About the role
As CTOO, you will oversee R & T and operational departments, ensuring that our production processes remain efficient, sustainable, and future-proof. You will play a key role in advancing biofuel production technologies, implementing new innovations, and strengthening Sunoil’s position in the European market.
Key responsibilities:
- Optimize production technologies and processes within our facilities
- Lead technical and operational teams to drive growth and efficiency
- Develop and implement strategic investments in technology and infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and sustainability standards
- Collaborate with the commercial team to support product development and innovation
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong technical and operational background in the chemical/food or biofuel industry. You should have experience managing complex production processes and a strategic mindset to drive technological advancements and sustainability initiatives.
Key qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior technical or operational leadership role
- Strong expertise in process optimization and production technologies in an industrial environment
- Experience implementing sustainability initiatives and CO₂ reduction strategies
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic setting
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
